Excel tutorial on a couple of ways to make lists in Excel where users can select items using Form Controls. We’ll create a drop down list and then make a List Box. We’ll do both using Form Controls.

What are Form Controls???

Located in the Developer Tab, Form Controls in Excel are objects that make it easier for users to select data. We’ll look at 2 of these objects – the Combo Box and the List Box to create lists in Excel.

We’ll go over how to make a drop down list in Excel using the Combo Box and then on how to make a List Box with a scroll bar.

We’ll then use the INDEX function to help us use the result from the Dropdown and the List Box to calculate our example.
