Excel tutorial on how to use the Top Bottom Rules of Conditional Formatting in Excel. We’ll walk through the options available for this Conditional Formatting styling feature in Excel.
With the Top / Bottom Conditional Formatting Rules you can:
- Highlight the highest values in a data set. These are the Top Items.
- Highlight the lowest values in a data set. These are the Bottom Items.
- You can also highlight percentile rankings within your data range by using the Top/Bottom Formatting rules.
- Lastly, you have the option to highlight values above or below the average of all values in your data range.
